USS Seaviper

In this direct-to-DVD film, the German submarine U-234 departs from Kiel to exchange cargo with the Japanese. The USS Seaviper is tasked with intercepting and halting this perilous transaction. The Seaviper’s captain must disembark on an island near Sumatra for reconnaissance, leaving the submarine under the command of Mister Cutter after the Executive Officer is wounded in combat. Tensions between Cutter and the Chief of the Boat threaten the vessel’s safety. Trapped beneath the ocean’s surface with dwindling oxygen supplies, the Seaviper is pursued by a Japanese destroyer above. The submarine’s damage raises doubts about its survival. The crew must confront the Japanese destroyer and deliver crucial information about U-235 back to Pearl Harbor.
