John Henry, a struggling salesman, encounters an extraterrestrial being who offers him a shot at prosperity by exchanging advanced technology for assistance in conducting experiments on humans. Driven by his desire for success, John inadvertently enables the alien to create a method for dominating humanity. Meanwhile, Detective Mike Washburn is tasked with unraveling the mystery behind a series of disappearances linked to these events.
