The Veil

The narrative draws inspiration from actual news stories about religious cults and collective suicides. In “Veil,” the tale starts three decades in the past, when the followers of a religious sect called Heaven’s Veil commit mass suicide. The real events of that day are locked away in the mind of the only survivor, a girl who was just five years old at the time. Now grown up, she revisits the site with a documentary team. Together, they uncover horrors beyond their wildest fears.
