The Assignment

Jack Shaw, portrayed by Donald Sutherland, is a seasoned CIA operative who has faced the horrors of his profession up close. For more than two decades, he has been on the trail of Carlos “The Jackal” Sanchez, a notorious international assassin, and narrowly escaped a deadly bombing orchestrated by Carlos at a café in Paris. Shaw’s relentless pursuit takes a promising turn when he stumbles upon Annibal Ramirez, an American naval officer and devoted family man, who bears an uncanny resemblance to the elusive killer. Aidan Quinn plays the role of Ramirez.
