After spending years hidden from the human world, the Turtle brothers embark on a mission to gain the acceptance of New Yorkers and be seen as regular teenagers by performing heroic deeds. With the assistance of their new ally, April O’Neil, they confront a shadowy criminal organization. However, they quickly find themselves overwhelmed when a horde of mutants is released against them.
