“Smiley Face,” directed by Gregg Araki, follows the misadventures of Jane, a perpetually stoned actress, who inadvertently consumes a batch of cannabis-laced cupcakes. Her day spirals into a series of bizarre and comedic escapades as she attempts to navigate through a series of increasingly absurd challenges in Los Angeles.
