One Big Happy

Childhood friends Lizzy (a gay, somewhat meticulous individual) and Luke (a straight, more relaxed character) share a bond akin to family. During their youth, as both sets of their parents went through divorces, they leaned on each other for support, forging a lifelong connection. Now adults and still single, they decide to create a family together. Not in a romantic sense, but through a clinical, non-romantic approach to conception.

After another unsuccessful attempt at getting pregnant, they decide to unwind at a bar. There, Luke encounters Prudence, a carefree British woman who is set to return to England in a few days. Lizzy isn’t thrilled about Prudence, possibly due to her habit of walking around their apartment unclothed, but Luke quickly forms a strong connection with her. They spend every possible moment together before her departure. Just as Lizzy finds out she is pregnant, Luke reveals that he and Prudence have gotten married. And thus, an unconventional family is formed.
