Iron Man

Iron Man, also referred to as Iron Man: The Animated Series, is an American animated TV show inspired by Marvel Comics’ superhero Iron Man. It was broadcast from 1994 to 1996 in syndication as part of The Marvel Action Hour, which paired Iron Man with another Marvel-based animated series, the Fantastic Four, with each series airing a half-hour episode consecutively. The show was supported by a toy line that included various armor versions.

This Iron Man series was one of the rare TV shows to be re-recorded in THX, a practice more common for movies at the time. Following the release of the live-action Iron Man film in 2008, reruns of the animated series started airing on the Jetix block on Toon Disney. Moreover, all 26 episodes are now available for streaming on LoveFilm.
