Essex County

This narrative follows the intertwined lives of four distinct individuals connected by family ties. The characters range from the elderly Uncle Lou to the youthful Lester, and include Anne, a nurse from the countryside, and Ken, a steadfast farmer. As their paths cross and their relationships develop, they gradually form bonds that lead to their mutual salvation and redemption. The story is adapted from Jeff Lemire’s graphic novel.
