Cowboy Bebop

In the year 2071, about half a century following a catastrophic incident involving a hyperspace gateway that rendered Earth nearly unlivable, humans have spread out to inhabit the majority of the rocky planets and moons within the Solar System. As crime rates soar, the Inter Solar System Police (ISSP) establish a formalized contract system. This system allows registered bounty hunters, known as “Cowboys,” to pursue and capture criminals alive in exchange for a monetary reward.
