Chappelle’s Show
“Chappelle’s Show” is an American sketch comedy series conceived by comedians Dave Chappelle and Neal Brennan, with Chappelle not only hosting but also performing in numerous sketches. The show was executive produced by Chappelle, Brennan, and Michele Armour. It debuted on January 22, 2003, on the Comedy Central cable network. The series enjoyed two full seasons and a third, shorter season.
The third season faced multiple delays and was ultimately cut short when Chappelle exited the show. Despite this, three episodes were pieced together from the existing material and aired between July 9 and July 23, 2006. The show continues to be popular in reruns on Comedy Central and is broadcast internationally on networks such as MTV in Germany, Comedy Central in Brazil, The Comedy Network in Canada, The Comedy Channel and 7mate in Australia, and FX in the United Kingdom.
Additionally, “Chappelle’s Show” has been aired on WGN America and syndicated to various U.S. television stations, including MyNetworkTV. TV Guide honored the show by placing it at #31 on their list of “TV’s Top 100 Shows.”
