Back in the Game

Terry Gannon Jr., once a standout softball player, faced unexpected challenges when she became a mother, lost her college scholarship, and ended up with an unreliable husband. Deciding to start anew, she and her son Danny move in with her distant father, Terry Sr., also known as “The Cannon.” Terry Sr. is a former athlete with strong opinions and a penchant for beer, who never succeeded as a single parent or in his professional baseball career. When Terry hesitantly agrees to coach Danny and a team of other kids with limited athletic skills, she finds herself confronting her past once more.
