All Def Comedy carries on HBO’s tradition of showcasing urban comedy. The original Def Comedy Jam was instrumental in kickstarting the careers of numerous contemporary comedy icons, including Dave Chappelle, Chris Tucker, Martin Lawrence, Steve Harvey, Kevin Hart, Cedric the Entertainer, Katt Williams, J.B.
