Alcatraz

“Alcatraz” is a U.S. TV series masterminded by Elizabeth Sarnoff, Steven Lilien, and Bryan Wynbrandt, with production by J. J. Abrams and Bad Robot Productions. It debuted on Fox on January 16, 2012, as a mid-season addition. The narrative alternates between different time periods, centering on the infamous Alcatraz prison, which was purportedly closed in 1963 due to hazardous conditions for inmates and staff. The intriguing twist of the series is that both the prisoners and guards who vanished in 1963 have suddenly resurfaced in contemporary San Francisco, where a government agency is on their trail. The cast includes Sarah Jones, Jorge Garcia, Sam Neill, and Parminder Nagra. Unfortunately, the show was discontinued on May 9, 2012.
