Poseidon Rex

Renowned treasure hunter Jackson Slate embarks on a quest to uncover the fabled Lost Gold of Cortez in the remote waters surrounding a Caribbean island. By using dynamite to clear away centuries-old sediment, he inadvertently opens deep fissures beneath the ancient ocean floor. This unleashes a dormant malevolence that swiftly and brutally obliterates Jackson’s vessel and claims the lives of his crew. As the sole survivor, Jackson joins forces with marine biologist Sarah to return to the scene and unravel the mystery behind the terrifying incident. They retrieve an egg from the ocean’s darkest depths and bring it to their lab for study. However, upon hatching, they discover they have awakened a lethal prehistoric creature, the P-Rex, which is determined to annihilate the entire island.
