Philophobia: or the Fear of Falling in Love

Damien Booster, a somewhat successful podcaster, is enjoying his single life until a regular fling declares her love for him and issues an ultimatum. She tells him that if he attends brunch to meet her mother, she’ll know he’s serious about their relationship; if he doesn’t, it’s over. Afraid of confronting his true emotions, Damien chooses to end things, but soon finds himself overwhelmed by unsettling visions of commitment. This inner turmoil coincides with a visit from his best friend from his hometown to Los Angeles. As Damien tries to navigate his psychological and emotional crisis while showing his friend a good time in Hollywood, his fear of love threatens to take over.
