A group of college friends—Devin, Jack, Shelly, Kristy, Shaun, and Flower—decide to rent a spaceship for a vacation trip to Centauri Five. Frustrated by the rental company’s limitation on the ship’s speed to 10x, they persuade Shaun to disable the speed restriction device. This action inadvertently harms the ship’s automated controls and disables the distress signal, leading to their crash landing on an unknown alien world.
