Odysseus: Voyage to the Underworld

King Odysseus has been absent from Ithaca for two decades. The initial ten years were consumed by the Trojan War, while the subsequent decade was dedicated to his struggle to return home. Among his many exploits is a story so dreadful that Homer chose not to recount it, a lost chapter of the Odyssey referred to as The Isle of the Mists. In this narrative, the Warrior King and his companions confront the Goddess of the Underworld and her terrifying winged beasts.
