Max, Paul, and Simon have been close friends for 35 years, cherishing their annual vacation together without their partners and frequently gathering for nights of drinking or card games. Each of them enjoys a thriving career and seemingly flawless lives until one evening when Simon shocks his friends by revealing that he has strangled his wife, Estelle, following a heated argument. Max and Paul are appalled by Simon’s admission, but the situation worsens when Simon requests that they lie to provide him with an alibi for the time of Estelle’s death. Both men find themselves conflicted between protecting their friend and reporting him to the authorities.
