Mozart’s Don Giovanni Juan
Juan, a successful artist and notorious playboy, is known for his ability to embody the ideal man in a woman’s eyes: charming, charismatic, strong, sensitive, and sensual. Driven by an insatiable desire to conquer, use, and discard women, he enlists his friend Leporello to assist in creating a unique project: a filmed archive of all the women whose dreams he has shattered. Over the course of 24 intense hours, we follow Juan and Leporello as Juan seduces Anna, a young woman from the upper class, but inadvertently kills her father, a high-ranking police commissioner. The pair flees, but Juan’s relentless compulsion to seduce new women continually disrupts their escape. As the police close in, Juan also steals Zerlina, a young bride, from her groom Masetto, sparking a frantic manhunt for him.
