More Than Friendship

Since their earliest days, Mia, Lukas, and Jonas have been inseparable, sharing a bond as close as family. However, three years ago, everything shifted when their friendship evolved into a love that defies societal norms. This unconventional relationship has drawn criticism and misunderstanding from some parts of society, including their own parents, who struggle to accept it. Annually, the trio embarks on a journey where they can freely express their emotions without fear of judgment. The film begins as they prepare for this year’s trip, renting a mobile home to set off on their adventure. This time, however, the journey is overshadowed by the somber reality that Jonas was diagnosed with terminal cancer a few months prior. Aware that this could be their final trip together, Mia and Lukas strive to keep Jonas’s spirits high, attempting to shield him from the harsh truth. Unfortunately, their promise to fill this last journey with only happiness proves difficult to uphold.
