During an open mic night, a stand-up comedian stuns the audience by admitting to a murder. This crime stems from a complex situation involving his older sister, who has just been released from prison after serving 20 years for killing their parents. The comedian is torn between his troubled relationship with his sister and the affectionate connection he has developed with a supportive surrogate family.
