Amidst the turmoil of a civil war that has stripped them of everything, including their childhood, four young soldiers, ranging in age from 13 to 20, come together and form bonds of friendship. Caught in the throes of a grown-up battle they cannot fully comprehend, Matéo, Dominique, Big Max, and Kevin find solace in each other’s company, creating a makeshift family around a pond and a cabin.
