The Southern Style kung fu proved ineffective against the alien invaders. Faced with no other options, General Chen must once again journey back to the late Qing Dynasty to seek out the master of Northern Style kung fu and bring his teachings to the future. However, the time travel results in Chen losing his memory, leading him to serve under Emperor Yuan Shikai, becoming stranded in the past.
