Indemnity

A man fleeing from an ex-lover who has vowed to end his life seeks shelter in a countryside tavern, where he unexpectedly befriends the bartender. As the man shares his story with the bartender over numerous drinks, the bartender—grappling with his own personal struggles—starts to question whether the man is simply a victim of fate or if he is concealing a more sinister truth.
