Ghost Rituals

After accumulating debts from an unsuccessful business endeavor in China, Zong Hua (Cheung) comes back to Malaysia after being away for ten years. Feeling defeated, Zong Hua struggles to secure employment and makes an effort to adjust to life at home. This includes dealing with his strained relationship with his stepfather, Xiaotian, who manages a Cantonese opera troupe, and his half-sister, Jing Jing (Cathryn Lee). Jing Jing harbors resentment towards Zong Hua, believing that the frequent arguments between him and their stepfather contributed to their mother’s death.
