In the quaint town of Eden, Tennessee, Clara Banks, a neglected and innocent teenager, has developed a routine of tricking people online to receive gifts, a scheme commonly referred to as “catfishing.” She considers it harmless entertainment until she attracts the interest of a dangerous individual. Soon after, a series of events escalate beyond her control when someone starts stalking Clara and her friends. As the repercussions of her deceit catch up with her, disturbing messages begin to appear at her home, leaving her terrified for her safety. Can Clara ever regain a sense of security now that malevolence has found its way to her doorstep?
