Factory Complex
South Korea’s rapid economic growth once astonished the global community, yet it came at a cost, particularly for the marginalized female workforce. This film delves into the experiences of working-class women in the 1960s textile industry, extending to the narratives of modern-day flight attendants, cashiers, and temporary employees. As we witness the strikingly similar conditions faced by female factory workers in Cambodia, it becomes clear that while the nature of labor evolves, the fundamental issues of livelihood persist unchanged.
