Dark Night of the Scarecrow

In “Dark Night of the Scarecrow,” directed by Frank De Felitta, a small rural town is shaken by the wrongful killing of a gentle, mentally challenged man named Bubba, who is accused of harming a young girl. As the townspeople attempt to cover up their crime, a mysterious scarecrow appears in the fields, seemingly enacting vengeance on those responsible.
