In Port City, North Carolina, a homeless man stumbles upon plans for an invasion during a typical camping trip. When he attempts to alert the local Sheriff, his warnings are dismissed, and he is jailed for loitering. However, the Sheriff starts to notice strange behavior among the townspeople and begins to investigate the man’s claims of a sleeper cell hidden within the community. As evidence of a beheading surfaces, fear spreads about an impending attack on this quintessential American town. Questions and tensions rise: why target this idyllic beach community, where everyone supposedly knows each other? As the truth remains obscured and justice seems elusive, it falls to a group of five unlikely heroes to unite, penetrate the insurgents’ ranks, and thwart their invasion plans.
