Bride for Rent

On the night before his 25th birthday, when he’s supposed to access his trust fund, Rocco (played by Xian Lim) ends up squandering all his money in a drunken poker game. His predicament is that he must come up with the cash, or he’ll risk losing a crucial client needed to outdo his father’s TV commercial business. At the same time, Rocky (portrayed by Kim Chiu) is in desperate need of money to pay her rent, or her family will face eviction. The only way for Rocco to access his trust fund is by meeting his grandmother’s condition: he must get married. Rocky agrees to pose as Rocco’s fake wife in return for a “talent fee.” They agree to the arrangement. As they navigate life pretending to be a married couple, Rocco and Rocky encounter a series of challenges, leaving them no choice but to resolve their differences and cooperate. Complications arise when they begin to develop genuine feelings for each other, drawing them closer together.
