By 1933, the era of Prohibition has become a thriving business, with ordinary people breaking the law, lurking in the shadows, and conducting their activities under the cover of night. This new societal landscape has also benefited corrupt officers like Jack Malone, who imposes a ‘luxury tax’ on every bootlegger and lawbreaker in the small town he is supposed to protect. While extorting the latest speakeasy in the local underground scene, Jack and his team stumble upon a group of vampires determined to seize control of the town. Chesterfield, an ancient vampire, and his followers are desperate to keep their existence hidden at all costs. The ensuing violence results in numerous deaths, with innocent townspeople being led to their doom. With no other options, Jack teams up with a busboy and an eccentric preacher to defend the town and confront Chesterfield and his vampire clan.
