Jolana, an 18-year-old, becomes the focus of her stepfather’s inappropriate attention. Struggling to handle the situation, especially with her mother ignoring the issue, she ends up in a brothel as a consequence. Her struggle to deal with her circumstances prompts a deeper question: What does she truly desire? Are her fantasies of escape truly preferable to the life she currently leads?
