When Paul shows up unexpectedly at her family’s seaside home, he catches the eye of nineteen-year-old Emma. There’s something unsettling about this charming photographer’s sudden appearance, linked to her mother’s history. Despite this, Emma, a budding writer feeling stifled by her affluent surroundings, becomes increasingly fascinated by him.
