Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, Part 1

In “Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, Part 1,” directed by Jay Oliva, an aging Bruce Wayne comes out of retirement to don the cape and cowl once more as Gotham City is overrun by crime and a new threat emerges in the form of a violent gang known as the Mutants. As Batman struggles with his own limitations and the skepticism of a society that has moved on, he finds an unexpected ally in a young girl named Carrie Kelley, who takes up the mantle of Robin.
