At the age of 10, Australian native Andi Gibson claimed to have had a direct encounter with a UFO, which led everyone to think she was out of her mind. However, 17 years later, on a fateful night, a fleet of alien spacecraft launches an attack across Australia and inexplicably abducts her mother. To make matters worse, other countries, feeling slighted for being left out of the invasion, refuse to assist Australia. Now, Andi, along with her hypochondriac brother Elliot, her retired boxer cousin Keith, and her documentary filmmaker friend Cam, must thwart the alien assault and save her mother. They are joined by Andi’s enigmatic and somewhat embarrassing father as they face off against car-chasing spaceships, martial-arts-skilled aliens, giant killer robots, and a flood of family secrets in their quest to protect Australia. It’s going to be one hell of a night.
