A Strange Course Of Events

Shaul, portrayed by Uri Pepper, is the central character of the film, a lonely man dealing with the aftermath of a divorce. In an attempt to address his emotional struggles, he visits his father, Shimon, played by Moni Moshonov, in Haifa. During this visit, Shaul accuses his father of being the root cause of his present troubles. Shimon, along with his partner Betty, played by Michaela Eshet, endeavors to assist Shaul by employing unconventional techniques, including the use of stones believed to possess magical properties and therapeutic oils. Through their efforts, Shaul begins to adopt a more hopeful outlook on life.
