A Little Game

At her upscale new school, a 10-year-old girl from downtown feels isolated and is deeply affected by the loss of her cherished grandmother. She unexpectedly finds guidance in a grumpy chess expert, who uses the game to impart valuable lessons to Max about resilience, perseverance, and accepting the inevitability of change.
